CSR / Code of Conduct

Sealand Natural Resources Inc. (SNRI) adhere to a comprehensive set of rules for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as well as Code of Conduct (CoC).

It is our philosophy to optimise our efforts with regard to being a law-abiding, environmentally conscious company as well as show a good ethical and social behaviour. Our philosophy is reflected in the way we do business.

The demands on our suppliers and their sub- suppliers are defined by BSCI, an agency under the United Nations. Our BSCI membership commits us to undertake inspections at our manufacturing facilities on a regular basis to ensure that the factories comply with our demands. These inspections are done by third party auditing companies.

SLNR strictly adheres to BSCI’s Code of Conduct, as defined in relation to:

  • the ILO conventions
  • the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
  • United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
  • Elimination of all forms of discrimination against women
  • UN Global Compact as well as
  • OECD guidelines for Multinational Enterprises
